Google Shows off prototype phone
Posted by admin under Google Phone News
Its no secret that Google is trying to enter the mobile phone market. They have now developed a prototype and now busy showing it off to prospective vendors. They are shopping different carriers and different ideas to try and get into the lucrative mobile market. Google is toying with the idea of free subscriptions by bundling advertisements with its search engine, e-mail and Web browser software applications. Google will have some big shoes to fill since it will certainly be aiming to reach the same status in the marketplace as Apple with its iPhone.

Rogers HTC Magic brings Exchange support
Posted by admin under Google Phone News
In less than one week Google Android will be coming to Canada. Rogers will be the carrier of the mobile phones and the HTC Magic and HTC Dream will have the latest Cupcake update and they will also offer Exchange support. Rogers will be rolling out full Microsoft Exchange support but as a result it will not have the Google branding on the back. Rogers is willing to do a bit of sacrificing in the Google Experience in order to be able to fully support Exchange. These are all minor sacrifices in order to bring the best possible product to the Canadian market.
