209 Android phones planed for US release

Posted by admin under Google Phone News

It took some time for Google to get all their ducks in a row with their new Android OS but now that they have worked out their kinks they are ready to go full throttle. Their newest addition is the Samsung I7500 which will hit the markets shortly. That is not the only Google powered phone to hit the streets this year as there are atleast 18 more Android phones ready for release in 2009. The Android phones will hit Europe in a bigger hurry than the USA since the US market is much more competitive and carriers are much more wary about what they want to release to consumers.

New to America: T-Mobile G2/HTC Magic

Posted by admin under Google Phone News

Finally the FTC has approved the Android phone for the American market. The Android phone is also known as the T-Mobile G2 or GTC Magic. That means it is time to get rid of your G1 and get ready for the latest and greatest from Google Phone. The photos show the phone to be quite stylish with the T-Mobile logo stamped across it. It does look a little bit like an iPhone but with some manual buttons on the bottom for ease of use and quicker navigation. It is a big touchscreen so we could be seeing the best of both worlds. There is no exact release date but that will come soon now that it has been approved.
